FictFact Leaf Image suggestions for adding a series

I've just spent most of the afternoon getting up to speed with this terrific site and entering my series. FYI to the site developers, I did this mostly by having FictFact on one monitor and my Amazon past order list (organized by author) on my second monitor and then comparing with the audiobooks on my iPhone. There are two idioscyncracies that would make this process simpler for new FictFact members like me:

One is to allow 'private comments' as soon as the member clicks 'following.'

I typically identified a series, then clicked 'following,' then went through the list to click off books that I've read. In another message, I mentioned the problem of incorrectly marking a book as 'read' and not being able to fix that. I've since learned there's a work-around, but it's certainly not intuitive to newbies.

In some cases, when I couldn't remember if I'd read a book, I clicked on the title, then read the description, then hit my backbutton to get back to the series list. This process always wiped out the 'mark as' designations that I had already done, which meant I had to mark each title again. The 'following' button would also reset to 'follow,' so I had to hit that again. I now suspect that it's not necessary to redo all that -- I think it gets enrolled -- but that's certainly not obvious and creates frustration and confusion for new users.

In several cases, I wanted to enter a private comment about the series -- thoughts that occured to me while going through this process. But the private comment selection seems only to appear once you've left this initial screen, i.e. I could enter a comment for the previously enrolled series. It would be much more helpful/intuitive to have the comment box function pop up as soon as you hit 'following.'

I suspect that these are small developer fixits that would help the user interface enormously -- especially for new users. This is a great site -- and I'm so glad to have found it!
