What are you reading this month? Any great new finds? Maybe rereading an old favorite? I started reading the Dark Protectors by Rebecca Zanetti. I am really looking forward to Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh out at the end of the month. This is one of my favorite series and can't get enough.

I'm trying to catch up on everything really. I'm reading tidbits of some books here and there. Started reading the new Jefferson Bass book "The Inquisitor's Key" (its listed wrong on site though as #8. It's the same book as #7 just titled differently) been reading up on John Sandford as well.

My daughter lives in Lexington Ky and I recently saw Bluegrass State of Mind on the free books. It was a fun read, with horses, romance and a bit of mystery. Of course then I discovered it was the first of a series, so waited until my Mothers Day Amazon gift cards arrived and just purchased three more in the series. Just about to settle in with the next called Risky Shot. Have sent off the first as a loaner to my daughter and hope she enjoys it too as many of the places in it will be familiar.

I just re-read the first 14 books of the Virgin River Series by Robyn Carr. Then I found the last 5 books in the series and finished the series off. Then I read The Solar Wind by Laura E. Collins, which I found pretty good. Looking forward for the next book.

Right now I am reading Sew, It's a Quest: The Bookania Quests by Kendra E. Ardnek. This has started out kinda interesting. Hopefully it will stay good.

I know this isn't a series but I just finished Susanna Kearsley's Winter Sea and it was fabulous - for those of you who love the old gothic romance authors she is very much like Mary Stewart. There is also a bit of time travel thrown in to the 1700's during the days of the exiled James Stewart and attempts to put him back on the throne in Scotland. I've read two of her books so far and they are hard to put down once you get started. They are so popular I'm having trouble getting them at the library. Does anyone here know of another author similar to her?

Have you read The Outlander, Diana Gabaldon?

No, I've heard a lot about it but haven't tried it yet? Just checked on Amazon and it looks interesting - thanks I may have to order this one next from the library.

I am also reading the Virgin River series in between some of my paranormal favorites. I like to switch genres every now and then to keep things interesting. :) I read the Outlander series many years ago, but have not read the latest books. Might have to go back and re-read the older books and then catch up with the newer ones.
