Do you have any good series that you love to read with your family?

My kids were past the reading-to stage when the Harry Potter books came out, but my daughter liked the first one so much I had to read it. Later, my mom asked what my daughter would like for her birthday, and of course it was the next Harry Potter book. Well, my mom started reading the second one and had to put it down and borrow the first one from me. Both she and my step-dad read the first one. They had time to read the second one (carefully) before they gave it to my daughter. Then it was a tradition: Grandma and Grampa read it and gave it to their granddaughter for her birthday, granddaughter read it and passed it on to her mom - me. So we had 3 generations involved.

I'm reading aloud the Hunger Games series to my husband, 11 year old son and parents. All of them LOVE it.

Hank the Cowdog is a lot of fun to read.
