I am new to the page and would like to introduce myself. My name is Terry Dexter and I am a mother and grandmother. I love reading and I mostly enjoy reading paranormal romance. I would love to get into some discussion groups or books clubs to meet others who share in my love for these books.

Hey everyone - my name is Deb - my nickname was Cookie in college so I use that a lot too. I read different genre's but am reading mostly mysteries at the moment. I love series but try to make sure I have all of the books before starting. Right now I'm reading Anne Perry's William Monk series. I have loved to read since as far back as I can remember. I started out reading 'gothic romance' and that is still one of my favorite.

Hey gerdad
Thanks so much for all the suggested authors. I enjoy paranormal romances and will definitely check these out. Some of the romance novels get too graphic for me so I prefer that they focus on paranormal mystery etc with 'light romance'. Are these authors pretty clean?

Hi everyone.
So, I'm new and I just wanted to say hi. So I'm really into paranormal romance and sometimes urban fantasy. And right now I am in a pickle, I am running out of new series' to read. Like this cannot happen. Please anyone have some GOOD recommendations. Holidays are coming up, I just can't be bored. Boredom is NOT an option.

Hi All,
I'm new and just wanted to take the time and say hello. I am a avid reader, I love just about everything. My all time favorite genre are Paranormal Romance, Historical Fiction, Mystery and Thrillers, I pick up the odd YA novel too. I like hearing what people are reading, because when you read a book a day, you are always looking for something to read. I would love to get into some discussion as well.

Nay Nay,
I agree - I may not get in a book a day but I am always reading. I've been trying to get in all the christmas setting type books I can this month so I've suspended my William Monk series by Anne Perry for the moment.
Lulurossette: Amazon has some great discussions - you might find something on ideas for paranormal romance.

Everyone
Is anyone else reading anything christmasy or with a winter type setting - (I'm trying to get in the christmasy spirit. It seemed to come up faster this year than ever. I'm running later than usual.)

Hi; My name is Bergette and I found out about this site from Mobileread. I'm looking forward to finding out about new series and what everybody else is reading. I like SciFi and mysteries best but also like to try out different genres. Right now the series I'm into is Aaron Stander's Ray Elkins series. They're mysteries, although with a couple of them I was a bit dissatisfied with the ending. The main reason I like them is the setting is Northern Michigan and since I live in Michigan it's neat to read familiar names mixed in with the fiction:)
Another book and author I would recommend is Carol Ann Newsome. Her book is "A Shot in the Bark". It's a murder mystery with quite a few twists and turns. The setting is a dog park and since this is her first book, it doesn't qualify as a series yet, but I sure hope it does eventually. The book is available at Amazon and no I'm not affiliated in any way, just liked the book and wanted to pass on a recommendation :)
And if anybody hasn't guessed, I can be long winded at times:) I'm looking forward to finding new books and meeting new friends.

Hey bklvr489 - you can never be too long-winded with me. I love to chat! I don't get on here as often as some because I'm fitting it in around work during lunch and breaks. I don't think I've tried Carol Ann Newsome so I'll have to look her up on Amazon. I'm in the middle of several series which I never did before getting in on threads at Amazon. I decided I didn't have to necessarily finish one before starting the other. I used to be so particular about that but as you get older you realize you may not have as much luxury of time - not that any of us are guaranteed long life. Anyway, I'm glad to have you here with us. Happy Reading!!!

Hi Crazymom, I'm Linda410. How are you? You might like MaryJanice Davidson's Queen Betsy series. She's undead and kinda funny. Also, have you checked out Katie MacAlister's Aisling Grey series. She also has a vampire series I haven't read yet. Aisling Grey series is about dragons. It's very witty. One of my favorite series is not paranormal romance but is set in like maybe 2060. It's JD Robb's In Death series. It is awesome. It's one of those that have a story, has some romance and their is a great interaction between characters. I love this serise. Drop me a line if you would like to discuss any of these series. If you don't mind, I'm going to follow you on Fictfact. You are welcome to follow me to see what I'm reading if you like some of the books or series you see on my site.
