Start following your favorite series. FictFact gives you six ways to find your favorite series:
Browse by Series
- Click the first letter of the series name, then scroll through the alphabetical list
Browse by Author
- Click the first letter of the author's last name, then scroll through the alphabetical list
Most Popular Series Overall
- Scroll through the top 100 favorite series of FictFact members
Most Popular Series By Genre
- Like Most Popular Series Overall, with a filter on specific genres (Romance, Science Fiction, Mystery, etc.)
Book Release Calendar
- If you know when a book from a favorite series was released or will be released, you can find it here
– Enter keywords from the title of a book in the series, or a probable tag associated with the series, into the Search field, then click
To follow a series, simply click the Follow Series link any time you see it (in search results or while viewing book or series details). The series is added to your My Series list, from which you can manage the list of series you are following.
Mark the books you plan to read, are currently reading, or have already read in the series.
View and organize your
Click Next Books in the menu at the top of the screen or under the FictFact menu on the right side of the screen. On this screen, you can:
Reorder books in the list by clicking Move to Top or dragging to the desired position
Remove books from the list
Update a book status to Already Read
As you mark what you have read, your custom list will automatically update.
Your top 10 series appears on your profile page for quick reference.
Other Features of FictFact
Keep up to date with your book series
As you read a book in your series, be sure to update the status as Already Read. Your Next Book list will automatically update with the next book in the series to help you keep track of which book you need to read next!
Visit your profile often to view your custom "Coming Soon" list of the books being released in your series.
Find out who else is following your series
At the bottom of the series description page, a list of other members who are following the series appears.
Click the member’s icon to open their profile to add them to your contact list or see what else they are reading!
Search for Contacts
Already know somebody using FictFact? Search for FictFact members by Name or Email address.
Watch your email!
You will receive weekly emails from FictFact containing useful information about your series and site news, such as:
Books in your series that are planned for publication
New books that have been added to your series
New series by followed a series
As FictFact grows, new features are announced to help you make the most of your experience!
Series and authors are added daily, from your suggestions. Note that adding new series may take time, since it requires extensive research. Don’t see your favorites yet? Use the Recommend
links to let us know. We will add your recommendations as soon as possible.

Tags on books and series
You can add tags to books and series to:
Help other members find your series via Search
View all of the series or books you have tagged with the same term
View all the series others have tagged with the same term
To tag a book or series:
While viewing the detail page for a book or series, click Add/Manage your tags.
Enter the tag term.
Click Add Tag.
Each FictFact member has the option to create a profile page that displays:
The member’s username and icon
Number of books read
Number of series he or she is following
Top 10 Next Books
Top 10 Coming Soon
Complete list of series he/she is following (only viewable by the member)
You can turn your profile public or private at any time by editing your
Organize series into lists
You can create your own lists on your profile page to categorize series as desired. You can choose to display the lists on your public profile or keep them private (for your own use).
To create a list:
On your profile page, click Add List.
In the Add New List pop-up window, do the following:
Name: Enter a short title for the list.
Description: You can enter a longer description or notes, if desired.
Choose whether to make the list Public or Private.
